William Vale Hotel

94 N. 13th Street, Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY
Industrial to mixed use commercial (23-story mixed use hotel building with a 210-car parking garage, restaurant, rooftop gardens and a public plaza on the ground floor). NYSDEC Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP). EBC designed and conducted a remedial investigation and conducted waste characterization study and established soil disposal options.  EBC provided supervision and oversight during soil excavation and performed community air monitoring program (CAMP) activities to measure levels of particulates and volatiles during all soil disturbing activities.


Domino Sugar Refinery Redevelopment

Kent Avenue, Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY

EBC Provided site investigation/characterization, major oil storage facility closure, soil management and remediation.

Clinton Hill Rentals

Atlantic Avenue, Clinton Hill Brooklyn, NY
10,000 square foot property was formerly vacant land used for parking and storage.  Converted to 8-story mixed use building including a residential lobby, commercial space, and upper floors consisting of residential units. E-Designation hazmat and noise, VCP.
EBC provided remedial investigation & work plan, installation of a vapor barrier system & sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS), CAMP & prepared remedial action work plans to address the Noise E-Designation.


Former Sunbelt Equipment

Kent Avenue, Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY
1.8 acres formerly occupied by various commercial and industrial use facilities (Pratt Manufacturing Co.) with several large capacity fuels storage tanks & two lime manufacturing facilities. Converted to mixed-use commercial (9-story office building with an underground parking garage).
BCP under NYSDEC.  EBC provided remedial investigation, remedial action work plan and waste characterization, as well as CAMP. the excavation of contaminated hotspots, dewatering, dust suppression, closure and removal of buried tanks, and odor control.


296 Wythe

Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg Brooklyn, NY
15,810 square foot property converted to 6-story mixed use building with a full cellar, commercial space on the ground floor, parking space on the second floor and residential units on the upper floors.  E-Designation for hazmat, VCP.  EBC provided remedial investigation, designed a remedial work plan to remediate onsite contaminants, oversaw the installation of a waterproofing/vapor barrier system & sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS), & conducted waste characterization study & established soil disposal options. CAMP activities were performed to measure levels of particulates and volatiles during all soil disturbing activities.


1134 Fulton

Fulton Street, Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, NY
25,744 square foot property formerly occupied by multiple commercial buildings converted to 11-story mixed use building covering the entire Site’s footprint with a full cellar, commercial space on the ground floor, parking on the second level and 189 residential units on the upper floors. 
E-Designation hazmat & noise. VCP. EBC provided remedial investigation, a work plan to remediate onsite contaminants, waste characterization & established soil disposal options.  EBC will install, pilot test & operate a temporary soil vapor extraction system (SVE),  a sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS), and perform CAMP.

7,500 square foot property formerly occupied by a single-story auto repair building converted to 5-story mixed use building with a full cellar including a lobby, commercial space, recreation rooms and residential use apartments on the upper floors. E-Designation for hazmat, noise & air - VCP.  EBC conducted a remedial investigation, designed a remedial work plan for onsite contaminants, oversaw the installation of a waterproofing/vapor barrier system and SSDS, & conducted waste characterization establishing soil disposal options. EBC also prepared remedial action work plans to address the Noise and Air E-Designations. 


50 Greenpoint

Greenpoint Avenue, Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY
15,600 square foot property converted to a6-story residential apartment building with a full cellar.  E-Designation for hazmat, VCP. uEBC conducted a remedial investigation, designed a remedial work plan for onsite contaminants, oversaw the installation of a waterproofing/vapor barrier system and SSDS, and conducted waste characterization study establishing soil disposal options.  EBC provided CAMP activities to measure levels of particulates and volatiles during all soil disturbing activities.
